Help us uphold
responsible advertising

Any person can complain about any advertisement which may be in breach of the ASC Code of Ethics and Standards. But first we must check that the advertisement is within the ASC jurisdiction and whether it is breaching one or more of the Code of Ethics and Standards.

You may wish to read the Code of Ethics and Standards here.

You can read our Privacy Policy online. We don’t accept anonymous complaints. In making a complaint you agree to not pursue the complaint in any other forum and are required to sign a waiver to that effect. The waiver is to reduce the risk of people using the Complaints Process as a test or abusing it to the unfair disadvantage of the advertiser.

The ASC deals with complaints about advertising content and placement.

  • You can check the definition of advertising and advertisement here.
  • If you are a competitor of the advertiser or you offer the same or similar goods or services as the advertiser you wish to complain about, please do not complete this form. Check our Competitor Complaints process for further information
  • We can’t help with the sound volume or frequency of advertisements.
  • We can’t help with political or government ads. You may direct your complaints to COMELEC or the government department in question if your concern deals with either.
  • We can’t help with the type of product and product name being advertised. For product concerns, you may direct your concerns to IPO Phil, or the FDA for food related products.

  • For print, digital and outdoor advertisements, a photo, or screen shots of the post or web page with a link to the relevant page/s.
  • For social media advertisements, please capture the entire advertisement by taking a photo or screenshot of a static post, or a recording of the social media story or post if it is in video form.
