PH President Credits KBP For Role in Self-regulation, Freedom of the Press

The Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker at the KBP 50^th anniversary, HE President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed the valuable contribution the association has on the country and the people, to the economy; also crediting KBP for its indispensable role in the healthy development of the broadcast media industry in the Philippines, and of the freedom of the press in general, as well as its role in upholding self-regulation.

President Marcos imparted how, “government will remain committed to ensuring transparency and good governance, freedom of expression and of the press and the protection of media practitioners and their rights in the practice of their profession.”
