ASC Circular 2026-010–Application for HUHS Product

In light of the FDA Advisory No. 2026 – 0706 – REGULATORY UPDATES FOR HOUSEHOLD/URBAN HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES (HUHS) wherein all concerned stakeholders are informed that the transitory period for the mandatory Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) for HUHS products and its labeling requirements under Annex J of FDA Circular 2020-025 is further extended until 31 December 2026, unless otherwise repealed or amended, please be advised that effective immediately, advertising materials of HUHS products which were given a clearance validity of only until 30 June 2026 shall be reapplied to obtain another clearance with a maximum validity of 31 December 2026.

In cases where a CPR has been by the FDA with a validity longer than 31 December 2026 and after review of all other support documents which shows that the CPR has the shortest validity date, the validity date of the attached CPR shall be used by the ASC as basis for the ASC clearance validity date.

This circular is being issued in place of ASC Circular No. 2026-009.
