ASC Circular 2017-010 – Overtime Radio Materials

Effective IMMEDIATELY, all S2 final radio materials SHOULD follow the standard radio commercial lengths, i.e., 5s, 15s, 30s, 45s, and 60s and MUST INCLUDE government mandatory statements within said time frame delivered in a clear, audible, and unhurried manner.

In line with this, the ASC will AUTOMATICALLY DISAPPROVE S2 radio materials that exceed the material length declared in the S1 application. Moreover, the ASC will no longer accept payment for additional/overtime minutes beyond the standard material lengths.
